Celebrity sighting
Well dudes, I got to meet a celebrity yesterday. It was Wentworth Miller. Yes, he is just as good looking in real life as he is on the squawky box. In case you're not sure who that is, here:
Thanks for letting me take a picture with you. I could tell that you didn't want to, so that was nice of you. Sorry, I'm sure that part of being rich and famous is sucky, but at least I waited until you finished your meal, right? If I'm ever (please no fucking way, thanks) famous, I'll do the same for you, ok?

Hi Jessica. I am the 'ying' to Maichan's 'yang' (or is it the other way round?) at that forum she linked.
Just to clarify, I don't (and didn't) interpret Went's reaction to being asked for a pic as meaning he "couldn't be bothered", as it seems evident he could - he did oblige your request for a pic, which is certainly nice of him.
My problem with this was that there seemed to be a reluctant vibe to things on his part (maybe more accurately, he *didn't want* to be bothered), and - as long as the fan asking is being polite, as it seems you were - I have a problem with this. I would have a problem with it from any celeb, but WM is the celeb I support, so I was voicing my negative feeling on this topic.
Anyway, I won't jam up your blog with any more on this topic. Thanks so much for posting about your encounter and posting the pic. I hope - in spite of WM's apparent reluctance - that you had a positive experience, and rest assured you have many people envious of your chance to say hi to WM.

Mink & Maichan: I think that he just wanted to have a low key lunch. He wasn't bombarded by a bunch of fans, in fact I think only one other person even approached him. He was absolutely nice and when the first photo didn't work out had no problem with me trying again. I'm sure he would have taken photos with everyone had more people asked, but I'm also sure he was glad that a lot of people didn't. Sometimes you just wanna eat lunch, ya know?
Certainly not too much to ask. He was all by himself.
